Qatari Diar officially inaugurated St. Regis Cairo Hotel, owned by Qatari Diar, on 5 January 2021, in the presence of Qatari Minister of Finance HE. Mr. Ali Sherif Al Emadi, US Secretary of the Treasury Stephen Mnuchin, and Minister of Finance of Egypt Dr. Mohamed Maait.​
