Qatari Diar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation (QRDI) Council in a strategic move aimed at transforming Lusail City into a smart city and a living innovation testbed.

‏Under this partnership, Lusail will host pilot technologies supported by key innovation clusters, spanning artificial intelligence, mobility, advanced digital infrastructure, and sustainable urban systems.

‏The MoU aims to combine Qatari Diar’s expertise in smart city development with Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council’s pivotal role in accelerating innovation-driven growth. It establishes a framework for pioneering research and development projects and the creation of specialized innovation incubators, enhancing both parties’ ability to develop new solutions and solidifying the State of Qatar’s and Lusail City’s position as global leaders in smart city development.
